When I first fitted a 300HP Yamaha to my Stabicraft 703 I was a bit disappointed on the first test run with the boat vibration. This occured especially at trolling speed which I do a lot when fishing. I tried changing props to see if it helped but there was no difference. On my way home from a day fishing I purchased a magazine and saw an ad for Vibra-Stop. After reading the ad and thinking about it overnight I decided I had nothing to lose. I made arrangements to have a Vibra-Stop kit installed. This proved to be a very smart move. I had no idea this would have such an impact on the comfort of the boat, all vibration was gone and my boat was much quieter.
I highly recommend Vibra-Stop to anyone fitting an outboard motor to an aluminum boat. It is well worth the investment.
